My
aim of coming to Baby Sensory was to
socialize Jack with other babies, and other
people, because he was just reaching the
stage where he was very happy, interactive
and smiling with me, but quite wary of other
people. At the baby sensory classes, Jack is
so absorbed with everything around him and
is becoming more and more comfortable with
being close to babies and Mums. The
atmosphere is fantastic for the babies to
observe each other at their own pace.
There is so much much more to this
experience that that though. These are
unbelievably well organized classes with so
much effort and thought each week. I have
become more interested in the baby signing
and Jack certainly seems to concentrate hard
at home as if he recognizes and understands
the signs from the classes. I won’t be
surprised when he eventually signs to me.
Each week there is another sensory
experience or wonderful visual show for the
babies; these are things that just couldn't’
be replicated in your own home. There are
also lots of ideas that I have taken home,
to play and stimulate Jack in new ways. At
the break, in the middle of the class, there
are so many play mats and toys for the
babies to try. An opportunity to meet and
talk to other Mums, feed or change your baby
if necessary. This works really well.
Lin
and her husband have enormous energy and
enthusiasm and it is infectious! I really
couldn't’ recommend this class enough.
Best wishes,
