Eva's Magical Space

Eva and I have been going to Baby Sensory since she was a few months old. I am already mourning the fact that soon she will exceed the maximum age for us to continue. The weekly hour-long event is a whirlwind of colour, light, textures, song and play. The effort that goes into each structured session is incredible. I remember one week when Eva had arrived asleep. Twenty minutes in she woke to a magical space with multi-coloured projections on the walls, floating bubbles, a huge shimmering material rainbow accompanied by a song about the weather.

Lin and Howard’s enthusiasm and energy is admirable. Glancing around the room whilst Lin is in full swing, singing and signing, there are many times when I notice that every baby in the room is mesmerised, calm and clearly enjoying every minute!
